21st Century Charter School Student Selected for Regional Leadership Program

The South Shore Leadership Youth for Community Engagement Program (SLYCE) selected 21st Century Charter School student Jontrell Bowles to participate in its inaugural class. Only 50 regional high school students were selected for the program, which provides dynamic leadership development.

Meeting once a month, SLYCE includes a curriculum of leadership learning lessons and resources that build students’ capacity as change agents and prepares them for involvement in their communities. The goal is create the community leaders of tomorrow.
